I first worked with Dr. Mya’s Team as an Extra in our first project together and through hard work, dedication and commitment, I became an All-Star on her team. 10 projects later and I’m still representing Dr. Mya and the team. The moral of the story is “Dr. Mya Speller will believe in you like you believe in her.” Can I get an amen?! Amen!

It has been nothing short of a blessing to have met Mya Speller, I was a guest on her show years ago and I felt a kindred connection with her from day one, Some of the pains, the losses,and triumphs alike.Our lives were running parallel.I felt compelled to know more about her.Over the years I’ve watched her grow into her own right of solidarity.Mya Speller has continued to blow our minds and there is so much more to come. I am grateful to be apart of her productions because she is one hell of a writer who is not afraid to push the envelope, something a true creative can appreciate.I am honored to be apart and to date I have appeared in #BFFs (One of my favorite movies) My character Ann is struggling with alot, she has anxiety, she is afraid of becoming a statistic because of her identifying as a woman although she was born a man, and these are topics that needs to be discussed. I loved that role”Deadly Control” I am the supportive friend Paula who has just had enough and want more for my friend. Mya Speller will be a household name, remember yu heard it here first! -

I started with Dr. Mya Behind The Veil 2 as a Specialty Stunts Dancer. I was called in to read for a supporting role for a film that she was producing and funding. Once I Began to read she then switched me to the leading role, just off of my table reading Skills alone. From that moment, she believed in me and never doubted me. She then cast me for TIT FOR TAT as The supporting Actress, Candace and there is when she challenged me to dig deeper With the motion and pain that Candace was going through and with that character at the very end of the movie was one of the most amazing moments. And from there, we have been working together nonstop. It is amazing once you put in so much work and dedication to your craft from attending a college receiving your Bachelors of arts degree continuing training and making it through obstacles and challenges for your dream and finally it’s like that vessel that is being used by. God comes along and says here’s the torch now just keep running you got this. It’s great being a part of a supportive grounding God fearing team. this is just the beginning.

Ever since that audition I knew we would be locked in for life. Ma can’t get rid of me if she tried lol. I am so proud of her and our team’s accomplishments. I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Dr. Mya Speller for her unwavering belief in my craft as an actor. She was the first to truly see my potential, casting me in seven of her films: *Tit For Tat*, *BFFs*, *Don’t Fumble Me Twice*, *Poly Love in Peach City* 1, 2, and 3, and *Deadly Control*.It was on the set of *BFFs* when, after witnessing my dramatic and emotional performance, she told me, “Baby, whoever slept on you, is about to be upset.” It was in that moment I knew this path was meant for me.
What she doesn’t know is that on the very same day of her son’s Nygil Cullins passing (Peace Be Upon Him) I was on the verge of heading back to Memphis due to a failed relationship, ready to give up on acting altogether. But I heard God tell me to trust in Him, that He had a plan. Little did I know that plan included meeting Dr. Mya Speller and becoming a household name in the film industry.
Thank you, Dr. Mya, for believing in me, for giving me a chance, and for inspiring me to pursue my dreams. I pray we continue to make history together.
